Sir Alex Ferguson has opened up about his recovery from a brain haemorrhage suffered in May 2018 at the age of 76. Following emergency surgery, he temporarily lost his ability to speak and required speech therapy exercises to regain his voice. He returned to Old Trafford four months later to attend a Manchester United match against Wolves.

During his tenure at Manchester United from 1986 to 2013, Ferguson secured 38 trophies, including 13 Premier League titles and two Champions League titles.

His new book, Games of My Life, chronicles 21 matches that shaped his career. The collection begins with a cup final victory for Govan High School in 1955. It also highlights a 1963 performance for St Johnstone, where he scored a hat-trick against Rangers after being promoted to the starting XI. This specific match prevented him from leaving football to relocate to Canada.
