Manchester City has been found guilty of the majority of 115 charges relating to breaches of Premier League financial rules. The findings follow an investigation into the club's financial conduct between the 2009-10 and 2017-18 seasons.

The charges include 54 counts of failing to provide accurate financial information, 14 counts regarding player and manager payments, and 35 counts of failing to cooperate with investigations. Additionally, the club was found guilty of five counts of failing to comply with UEFA Financial Fair Play rules and seven counts of breaching Premier League Profitability and Sustainability Rules.

An independent commission now determines the sanctions, which may include financial penalties, points deductions, or removal from the Premier League.

Manchester City is expected to appeal the verdict, with Lord Pannick KC leading the club's legal team. While the commission's judgment is subject to an appeals process, the case cannot be taken to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
