Completing the roof installation is necessary for the Camp Nou to meet UEFA five-star stadium standards. Achieving this certification is a requirement for the venue to be eligible to host the 2029 Champions League final.
During this extended period of displacement, Barcelona will incur monthly rental costs of approximately €900,000 for the use of the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
