North Macedonia vs Scotland preview
North Macedonia host Scotland on October 3, 2026, in a UEFA Nations League Group B1 match scheduled for 18:45 UTC at the Tose Proeski Stadium in Skopje. Both teams enter this third-round fixture seeking their first win of the campaign. North Macedonia currently sit at the bottom of the group with zero points, having suffered a 2-0 defeat away to Slovenia and a 3-0 home loss against Switzerland. Their manager, Goce Sedloski, is looking to improve a home record that saw the team lose to the Swiss in their opening match.
Scotland, managed by Sebastien Pocognoli, occupy third place in the group with one point from their opening two matches. After an initial 0-0 draw against Slovenia, the Scots were defeated 3-0 by Switzerland at Hampden Park, a match in which defender Jack Hendry was sent off after 11 minutes. This trip to Skopje represents the third attempt for Pocognoli to secure his first victory since taking charge of the national team in August. The visitors are aiming to improve their attacking output, having failed to score in their first two Nations League fixtures.
