Cyprus vs Armenia preview
Cyprus host Armenia on October 2, 2026, at 16:00 UTC in a UEFA Nations League C Group 2 fixture. The hosts enter the match at the Neo GSP Stadium in Nicosia sitting third in the group with one point, following a 0-0 draw against Latvia and a 1-2 loss to Montenegro. Manager Apostolos Mantzios faces a defensive selection challenge, as defenders Nicholas Tsaroulla and Konstantinos Soteriou are suspended, while Konstantinos Laifis is sidelined due to injury.
Armenia arrive in second place with three points from their opening two matches. Their most recent outing resulted in a 3-2 defeat to Montenegro, a game in which the team conceded three goals, including one from range and an own goal. While Armenia have struggled on their travels, winning only one of their past 15 away fixtures, they remain in contention for promotion in a group where every point is significant for future seeding. The visitors will be without Serobyan, who is suspended for this encounter.
